1st update: Current distribution of votes for the 2023 citizens' budget
Since 01.10.2023, it has been possible to vote on the 30 valid proposals for this year's citizens' budget.
A total of 4,489 votes were cast by 13:00 on 06.11.2023, distributed as follows:
- A mud playground for children - Jena's adventure land for muddy fun (455) -
- Digitization of the dinosaur trail (439) -
- A basketball hoop / court on the sports field in Jenaprießnitz (348) ↑
- Cup holders for returnable bottles at public waste garbage cans (300) -
- Greening of the new masts for streetcar overhead lines (293) ↓
- Barrier-free swing facility (232) ↓
- Kneipp facility (228) ↓
- One bicycle repair station per secondary school (217) -
- Lighting at the Hugo youth center (206) ↓
- Wooden pergola with vines as shade for city garden (174) ↓
- Löbstedt cultural trail (132) -
- Bicycle parking spaces at the Ostbad (130) ↑
- A rainbow crossing for Jena at the crosswalk on Carl-Zeiss-Platz (129) ↓

With the available budget of €103,970, the first 13 proposals could be implemented at this stage.
Voting will continue until 12.11.2023 both online via the participation platform and analogously by ballot paper.
Please note: the polling stations in the Winzerla, Polaris and Eastside district offices can only be used up to and including Wednesday, 08.11.2023 due to opening hours.
