2026 Participatory Budget – 102 Proposals in the Review Phase
The proposal phase for the 2026 Participatory Budget closed on July 31, 2026. A total of 102 proposals were submitted to the City of Jena this year, for which 50,000 euros are available.
The city administration is currently reviewing the numerous ideas in accordance with the guidelines. For example, proposals must serve the public interest, fall within the city’s jurisdiction, and may not exceed a cost of 10,000 euros per proposal. Finally, the Advisory Board for Citizen Participation will review the results at its September meeting.
Starting October 1, 2026, all valid proposals will enter the voting phase. This phase is scheduled to be completed by mid-November.
We will keep you informed here and on the participation platform about the next phase of the process.
