Short description of the proposal
There are already small stations in various places in Jena's city centre that make it possible to carry out short-term or very simple repairs to bicycles (e.g. Neue Mitte). What the ADAC is for cars, such a station can do in some cases, no matter if it is a flat tire or a wobbly light. These stations set up by private individuals / companies are very popular, which suggests an expansion of the concept by the city.
The goal should be to set up such stations for self-repair at central locations (Paradies train station or Salvador Allende Square). These should include at least an air pump and a set of basic tools (screwdrivers and Allen keys). A well-known manufacturer is IBOMBO on whose website you can get a direct picture of such a station.
