Current distribution of votes for the 2023 citizens' budget
Since 01.10.2023, it has been possible to vote on the 30 valid proposals for this year's citizens' budget.
By 01.11.2023, 13:30, a total of 3,848 votes had been cast, distributed as follows:
- A mud playground for children - Jena's adventure land for muddy fun (424)
- Digitization of the dinosaur trail (305)
- Greening the new masts for streetcar overhead lines (281)
- Beverage holders for returnable bottles at public waste garbage cans (269)
- Barrier-free swing set (219)
- Kneipp facility (216)
- Lighting at the Hugo youth center (198)
- One bicycle repair station per secondary school (198)
- Wooden pergola with vines as shade for the city garden (170)
- A basketball hoop / court on the sports field in Jenaprießnitz (161)
- Löbstedt cultural trail (124)
- A rainbow crossing for Jena at the crosswalk on Carl-Zeiss-Platz (121)
- Bicycle parking spaces at Ostbad (115)
- Book phone booth / crate / garbage can for Winzerla (111)
- Joint construction of up to 4 parklets in the Damenviertel (101)
- Speed display (Münchenroda) (98)
- Swing park for Jena (90)
- Benches for sitting and lying with shade in Lobeda-Ost (84)

With the available budget of €103,970, 13 proposals could be implemented at this stage.
Voting will continue until 12.11.2023 both online via the participation platform and analogously by ballot paper.
