2nd update: Current distribution of votes on the 2023 citizens' budget
Since 01.10.2023, it has been possible to vote on the 30 valid proposals for this year's citizens' budget.
Please note: Ballot papers can only be submitted via the city administration's deadline letterbox in Gerbergasse (until 23:59 on 12/11/2023) and at the Stadtwerke service center in Saalstraße (until 14:00 on 11/11/2023).
A total of 4,732 votes were cast by 13:00 on 08.11.2023, distributed as follows
- A mud playground for children - Jena's adventure land for muddy fun (461) -
- Digitization of the dinosaur trail (446) -
- A basketball hoop / court on the sports field in Jenaprießnitz (371) -
- Beverage holders for returnable bottles at public waste garbage cans (313) -

With the available budget of €103,970, the proposals in places 1 to 13 and 15 could be implemented at this stage.
Voting will continue until 12.11.2023 both online via the participation platform and analogously by ballot paper.
