Target group-oriented optimization of citizen participation in Jena

In recent decades, there has been a steady increase in interest among urban society in becoming actively involved in the design of their living spaces. Particularly in the area of major infrastructure projects, it has become clear that it is worthwhile providing comprehensive information about the legal opportunities for participation at an early stage in order to prevent conflicts at later stages of the project.

As the city administration, we are repeatedly confronted with the statement that interested parties were not informed about upcoming participation formats and events despite articles and contributions in the local and regional media, posters, entries on the project list and in the calendar of events as well as advertising via the city's various social media channels.

We would like to change this - and we need your support to do so. Please take around 8 minutes to answer our questions about the media and communication channels used and public event formats.
