Current information on the citizens' budget 2020
Voting week and closing event on 28.11.2020 canceled
Due to the corona restrictions, the events at which residents were able to vote on site unfortunately have to be canceled. Due to the regulations in force in November, these formats are not permitted.
This means that the only option still open to people is online voting.
Voting period extended until 10.12.2020
We do not want a whole range of people to be excluded from voting. That is why we have created a new voting option and are extending the voting period until December 10, 2020 - online voting will also continue until then.
says Christian Gerlitz, Mayor and Head of Department for Urban Development and the Environment.
From now on, it is also possible to fill in a ballot paper at home. To access these ballot papers, however, you need internet access or friends and acquaintances with internet access. This is because, due to the pandemic, the ballot papers cannot be displayed and collected fromthe city council's facilities , but must be downloaded from the participation portal and printed out.
The ballot papers can be handed in either in the deadline letterbox of the city of Jena (Am Anger 15), at the local district mayors (OTBM) of your district and at the district offices in Neulobeda and Winzerla. An overview of the drop-off locations is available for download.
The ballot papers should be placed in an envelope and labeled as follows:
Central coordination office for citizen participation
Citizens' budget vote
They can also be sent by post. The exact address can be found on the ballot papers.
To take part in the online vote, you must register. If you are already registered, you can log in directly to vote.
