Brief description of the proposal

It would be nice to have several drinking water dispensers around town and in the parks. This should reduce the consumption of plastic bottles.
A larger part of the German plastic waste is shipped abroad and ended up uncontrolled in nature and the sea. Via the food chain, some of it gets back into our food chain.

Opinion of the administration

The proposal is invalid.

On the one hand, a drinking water dispenser cannot be installed for 5,000 € and wait for the next 5 years. On the other hand, there is already a city council resolution of 25.05.20, which is to examine the realization of drinking water dispensers and provide proposals for implementation.
