Brief description of the proposal

Jena is surrounded by green forests, which invite for hiking. What is still missing are signposted jogging trails similar to those that exist in Paradies Park. The Jena forest around the Schottplatz is a suitable area for designated running trails. The proximity to the city, already existing parking possibilities as well as the coming forest experience center as an additional crowd puller would complete with additionally signposted running ways a forest for nature friends, recovery-looking for, in addition, sport friends.

Laid out as circular courses with different levels of difficulty or lengths make the jogging routes attractive for both beginners and advanced runners.
